The latest release from 2nd Favor, brewed with malt, wheat, and rye. Fermented with our Belgian yeast, grain, fruit and spice give way to similar flavors. Bread and cereals, followed by a touch of sweetness and black pepper.

VITAL NERVE, 5.2% PALE ALE
Brewed with a substantial amount of rye malt, and hopped on Cascade, Cashmere, and Idaho 7 hops. Lemon, lime and toasted malt on the nose give way to orange and grapefruit peel, mimicking the taste of a rattler with a spicy twist.

HEAVY SPECTRUM, 8% IIPA
Our newest IIPA offering, stone fruit nose gives way to notes of pineapple, grapefruit, and nectarine. Pleasant malty backbone gives good balance to the beer before a refreshing finish.

WORKMAN’S FRIEND, 7% PORTER
A traditional porter, once enjoyed by laborers across Western Europe. Inspired by the poem of the same name, this “pint of plain” is truly your only man. Noes of baker’s chocolate gives way to undertones of spice from added rye malt and noble hops. Satiating and dangerously drinkable, perfect after a hard day of work.

MISCHIEVOUS NATURE, 6% BLONDE
Our version of a Belgian Blonde, brewed with an expressive yeast strain from the Ardennes mountain range in Belgium. Flavors of banana, vanilla and clove burst forth from this creamy ale. Noble hops bring a controlled bitterness and spice to perfectly balance this beer.

This year we are going back to the basics and a variant of Born Day we have never done before. Our stout brewed with cake batter was aged in 7 year Heaven Hill bourbon barrels for 18 months with no extra adjucts post aging.
